A distinguished professional in his industry, Dr. Agwo Thaddeus Tata, M.Ed., M.S., LP.D. has excelled as the president and chief executive officer with Microhealth Global Consulting Inc. in Stoughton, Massachusetts since 2010 and as chief executive officer with Microhealth Global Medical Center in Cameroon since 2016. Specializing in law, policy and compliance software, Dr. Tata has found great success throughout the course of his career, having accepted the Award for Improving Healthcare in Cameroon, along with his company being named the Best Non-Profit Organization in Stoughton, Massachusetts.
Prior to his current focuses, Dr. Tata served as an executive general manager with Polyclinic Bonanjo Hospital in Douala, Cameroon from 1992 to 1996. He subsequently worked as a systems integration manager for Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, Illinois from 1996 to 1998 and as a senior systems integration engineer and CareGroup Community Hospitals’ electronic data interchange liaison with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard teaching hospital in Boston from 1998 to 2017. Simultaneously, Dr. Tata had been a writer with ELEVATEHIM.com from 2004 to 2010.
Abundantly educated, Dr. Tata initially earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science followed by a Master of Science in healthcare leadership and management from Northeastern University in Boston, where he had also been a member of Sigma Epsilon RHO Honors. He then achieved a Master of Education and Master in Instructional Design, teaching with technology, from the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Tata concluded his education with a Doctor of Law and Policy from Northeastern University. He also holds certificates in SQL, Oracle, Datagate, Egate, and Ensemble trainings.
A prolific author alongside his primary endeavors, Dr. Tata is the author of the book, “Journey From Africa to America,” among others. In addition, he has been featured on television, as well as in the Boston Globe and the Northeastern University Alumni Magazine. Looking toward the future, Dr. Tata’s goal for Microhealth Global Consulting, Inc. is to gradually move to underdeveloped countries and implement as much of the American system of healthcare management to their hospitals with the hopes for better efficiency.
